November’s Staff Pick Series: Black Swan, presented by Faust! Every month, we showcase our hardworking Bear Tooth team’s favorite films.

“I kind of wish there were ballet sequences in all horror movies.
I’m Faust, the Art & Marketing Manager at the Tooth, and this movie has everything I’m looking for: a twisty, eerie psychological thriller, incredible music, stunning production design and cinematography, and, of course, the dancing. The cast is made up mostly of women who all turn in complex, unsettling performances. Everyone is batting 1,000 in this one but Natalie Portman really seizes that Oscar with her portrayal of Nina.
I can’t think of a more fun movie to pair with Nutcracker season, Tchaikovsky’s other ballet banger. Hope you’ll join me for Black Swan Black Friday!”
